The UC Merced senate, Provost and Chancellor have approved a Neuroscience Major, to be launched in the Fall of 2025. Students enrolled in the Neuroscience Major will have the option of choosing between a bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science. The Bachelor of Arts will have less emphasis on physics and math. The Neuroscience Major will accept transfer students in the Fall of 2027.
